Nolvadex is an antitumor product which blocks estrogen receptors and restores a reproductive function. This medicine contains the active ingredient Tamoxifen.
Nolvadex is a classical modulator of the estrogenic receptors, however, unlike Clomid, it has less selective action and blocks receptors of estrogen in pituitary and ovaries as well as in the whole body. A bone tissues is an exception.
Due to its less selective action, Nolvadex is used in the treatment of the cancerous diseases. It is able to block activity of the estrogen receptors in the tumor tissues and the development of the cancerous tumor.
Nolvadex also inhibits a formation of prostaglandins in the tumor tissue, slows down a development of the tumor process which is stimulated by estrogens.
After the use of the single dose, the ability of Tamoxifen to block receptors of estrogen is kept within several days. However, to maintain the optimal level of the medical ingredients in the blood, the medicine should be used on a regular basis.
Due to the inhibition of the estrogenic receptors, a production of the gonadotropic hormones is increased, so that ovulation is restored in women, and testosterone level and functions of testicles are improved in men.
